About

What is a Bible Church?
A Bible Church is a congregation that does not belong to a specific denomination yet is associated locally with other churches. The church is locally organized and church authority rest on a local level through the church elders and deacons. Bible churches look to the instruction from the Bible for answers to today’s problems.

What to expect when visiting Northshore Bible Church
There are two services on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30AM. We worship the Lord through singing for about 20 minutes and continue with the sermon/teaching for approximately 40 minutes.

Bring a Bible and a pen! The congregation often looks up the verse to follow along with the pastor and it helps to have a pen ready to jot down notes.

When visiting, expect to hear teaching that applies to your life. The Bible teaches us that we will have difficult times but promises Christians that they can be filled with peace during these times.

Expect encouragement, with a Biblical foundation, to grow in a closer relationship to Jesus Christ.

Your children are important to us. Northshore Bible Church offers nursery, preschool and Kid’s Church for those in grades K-6 at the 10:30AM service. When arriving check in at the Kids Booth in the foyer. You may then drop off children younger than Kindergarten age to their appropriate classrooms. Children in grades K-6 are welcome to go directly to Kid’s Worship. After a time of singing together the 4-6 graders will be dismissed to their classroom. All children will enjoy a lesson presented on their level.

Although we offer nursery and Kid’s Church, it is offered for your preference. Please feel welcome to keep your children with you throughout the entire service. Click here to learn more about our Children’s Ministry

7-12 graders are invited to attend the singing part of our Worship Service with their parents and adults. After the singing and before the sermon, the youth  are dismissed to their classroom. Click here to learn more about Youth Group

Our History
Three local men had a vision for a local church which would provide in depth, theological teaching from the Bible. Out of this a home Bible study began. The church had its first Sunday Service in November, 1985. We moved into our present location October 1996.

Our Beliefs
Our Doctrine
- The Bible is inspired, inerrant Word of God.
- The Scriptures are the complete and final authority for saving faith and practical instruction.
- Jesus Christ is the eternal, 2nd person of the Godhead, fully God, fully man, who died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of the world and rose from the dead on the third day.
- Eternal life (heaven) is only available as a gift (grace) from God through faith only in Jesus Christ alone (justification).
- Salvation is eternally secure.
- The Godhead (Trinity) is one God in three persons.
- The church is the body of Christ which began at Pentecost and is distinct from Israel.
- Christians are not perfect and might sin but can learn to grow away from sin (sanctification).
- We practice two observances of water baptism and the Lord’s supper both confined to believers only.
