Spring Bible Studies begin January 15, 2008
     DISCIPLINE THEM LOVE THEM, by Betty Chase. Resumes on Tuesday evenings at 7PM.  Part 2 of this study will run 13 weeks (the first 13 weeks were studied in the Fall) and is for moms who are serious about equipping themselves for the task and privilege of parenting.
     The study consists of lecture, sharing, and homework involving practical projects with the potential for bringing about positive changes in parent-children relationships. Some of the topics we will discuss will be the three levels of discipline, taking action, natural and logical consequences, rewards, consistency, chores, developing self-control in your child, building self-esteem, knowing your child’s uniqueness, and giving your child a sense of belonging. This course of study is useful and encouraging  to those with children infant to teenage.     

STEPPING UP: A JOURNEY THROUGH THE PSALMS OF ASCENT by Beth Moore. Offered on Tuesday evenings at 7PM. Through this in-depth Bible study of 15 Psalms, participants can pray, reflect and write a personal rendition of these ancient choruses. Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in hteir journey toward greater intimacy with God.
