Hero HeadQuarters is the place where kids join forces with God! A place kids will experience the Bible stories of unnamed heroes who were not super or powerful, yet their small acts were used by God to do wonderful things! What they had was a willingness to be used by God right where they lived. Kids will be challenged each day to do the unexpected, take action, step out in faith, save the day, and stand for truth. And they will be encouraged to carry out the challenge at home in ways they choose.

What do kids want after they’ve been to Awana? THEY WANT TO GO BACK! Why? Because Awana is fun! While kids are having fun, they’re learning and growing. Awana club meetings are jam-packed with life-changing experiences. The clubs are run by trained leaders with a love for the Lord Jesus Christ and a desire to help young people. The club materials are filled with verses from the Bible and guidelines to help kids memorize and understand them.

Awana teaches kids that God is real, that He loves them and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. Kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. Lessons from the Bible teach them how to honor God in a sinful world.

The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. This is the end result but the method is FUN!

Awana meets at Northshore Bible Church on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm,
September 2, 2009 through May 12, 2010.

Join us at church Monday, December 21 from 10AM to 1 PM. We will bake/eat cookies, make cards for hospital patients, eat pizza, play games and more. Bring a wrapped non-gender gift limited to a $10 value for our gift exchange. Contact the church office to attend.

Join the excitement of Studio GO!  Our backdrop of a television game show is full of fun, music, games, crafts, snacks and other kid-friendly activities. But Studio GO! is not just about fun and games - it’s about helping kids GO! with God by leading, risking, telling, obeying, and serving.

You are invited to a FREE, fun filled night for the entire family. There will be lots of food, fun, and fellowship. We will have hay rides, space walks, games, face painting, and candy! Prizes will be awarded for the best carved or painted pumpkin and the best costume (no scary ones please).

Children entering K-6th grade are invited to attend SonWorld Adventure Park
At this theme park there is no height requirement, the lines are short and everyone gets a good view of the parade. It will be an amazing world of adventure where kids learn throughout the week how making the right choices makes a world if difference. “Choose this day whom you will serve.” Joshua 24:15

Adult members of Northshore Bible Church & those 7th grade and older are invited and encouraged to volunteer the week of VBS. Childcare for volunteer’s children, infant through preschool are welcome on the day(s) the parent volunteers.

Immediately following the 10:30 service we will enjoy a church family meal. The church will supply chicken, so let us know by March 12 if you will be attending. Please bring a side item or dessert to share. Indicate your attendance and food contribution at church.
