Sunday, March 30, at noon at the home of the Michel’s. While we’re boiling we’ll be talking, getting together and catching up! Desserts will be needed, so if you can bring something we’d all appreciate it! We’ll have potatoes, corn, and hot dogs boiled with the crawfish as or main meal, and salad and/or potato salad and of course your yummy desserts. Sign up at church if you’ll be attending.

Immediately following the 10:30 service we will enjoy a church family meal. The church will supply chicken, so let us know by March 12 if you will be attending. Please bring a side item or dessert to share. Indicate your attendance and food contribution at church.

The evening will be filled with teaching, music, intrigue, and fun with one central objective in mine - bring students to an encounter with the evidence and reality that Jesus Christ is the one and only true source of meaning in life. Pastor Hobren recently returned from a mission trip to China. He was given an invitation to return with a group to teach Vacation Bible School in the mornings and English at night, June 16-27, 2008. We will have an informational meeting about this opportunity Wednesday, January 9, from 6:30-7:30PM. Call the church office for the location or for more information, 895 893-3284.

Old Testament Reading Calendar Tuesday nights from 7-8:30PM January 15, 2008-April 22. Join the lively discussion! During this session we will cover the books of Job, Ecclesiastes, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, and Hosea. Pastor Jerry Hobren is leading the group.
