DISCIPLINE THEM LOVE THEM, by Betty Chase. Resumes on Tuesday mornings at 9AM. Part 2 of this study will run 13 weeks (the first 13 weeks were studied in the Fall) and is for moms who are serious about equipping themselves for the task and privilege of parenting.

Some of the topics we will discuss will be the three levels of discipline, taking action, natural and logical consequences, rewards, consistency, chores, developing self-control in your child, building self-esteem, knowing your child’s uniqueness, and giving your child a sense of belonging. This course of study is useful and encouraging to those with children infant to teenage.

One Day Women’s Conference

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007
October 27, 2007 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

One Day Women’s Conference
Free to Fly!
is the theme of the one day event sponsored by the Southeast Louisiana Bible Church Coop scheduled Saturday, October 27, 2007 from 9am-4pm.
Jesus promised life to be full and abundant but many of us would not describe our lives in that way. Are you wondering why He hasn’t given you your dreams? What about the dreams that lay shattered at your feet? What will life look like when those dreams become reality? Join us at Northshore Bible Church as we look at these questions and discover ways to leave our “bird cage life: to fly free with Him!
Our speaker, Ginny Jensen, will help you realize how to release the dreams in yourself and others. In addition to three sessions with our speaker, we will share joyful worship, breaks with snacks & beverage, a midday workshop, and lunch. All of this mixed with enriching fellowship of other women. This is a special day for you, childcare is not provided.
The cost is $20 per person paid in advance by October 21 or $25 at the door. Cancellations will not be refunded, but the registration fee may be transferred to another party. To register call Northshore Bible Church 985. 893-3284 or church@northshorebible.com
