1 John 2:15-17
The apostle John is sometimes called the “Apostle of Love.” Today we will see where John tells us about the love God hates. The service ended with the moving video, “Everything.”

Both physically and spiritually the essence of life is growth. All believers are at different phases of growth but our heavenly Father desires that everyone of us mature and grow.

The New Testament repeatedly sets forth love as the distinguishing mark of a believer. John states in these verses that love should be a way of life.

Since the fall, man’s natural heart is prone to hide, not to be honest, not be real. This includes hiding from God, ourselves, and others. God desires that we live a real life.

The search for something real and satisfying has always been man’s search. John shows us that satisfying reality is not in things or thrills but in a person, Jesus Christ.
