We value your children. It is our goal to assist you in nurturing and equipping your child spiritually. We have created an environment that is safe, comfortable, and fun for your children with a strong emphasis on Biblical teaching. When you arrive at church, check in at the SonRiseKids table located in the hallway. There you will be greeted by a Children’s Team member to assist with registration or retrieving your child’s personal name tag. Then proceed to one of the age appropriate classrooms:
1st Hour - 9AM (suspended during summer months)
Infant/Toddler Nursery: Birth - 2 year olds
Preschool: 3 - 5 year olds
1st-6th grade class
2nd Hour - 10:30 AM
Infant Nursery: Birth to 15 months and walking steadily
Toddler Nursery: 15months to 2 1/2 years
Preschool 1: 2 1/2 - 3 year olds
Preschool 2: 4 year olds - Kindergarten
1st - 3rd grade class
4th -6th grade class
These classes are in place to assist you in the godly training of your child. Feel free, if you prefer, to have your child accompany you to the Worshp Service.
We also have a wonderful program on Wednesday nights at 6:30 for 3 year olds through eighth grade called AWANA.What is Awana? Awana is place that allows children to learn God’s Word in a fun and exciting environment through games, large group devotion time, and scripture memory using age appropriate handbooks. At Awana children not only learn God’s Word but earn tangible rewards!
Seasonal celebrations such as our “Spring Fling”and “Fall Festival,” are events for the entire family to enjoy. Vacation Bible School, held each summer, gives us opportunity to learn of the Savior’s love and to share it with others.
