Women
The NBC Women’s Ministry seeks first to meet and connect with the women of our church that we might learn their needs and be a support for them.
We provide weekly Bible studies in the Spring and Fall that our ladies might know the Word. Our Titus Groups (Titus 2:3-4) groups are a mentoring ministry for the younger women. We also have a Biblical Encouragement ministry to meet the needs of hurting women. The Sisters in Secret program is for the women who wish to have a prayer partner. Our annual Women’s Retreat is held in conjunction with the Southeast Louisiana Bible Church Coop. The retreat is held each Fall with other area Bible churches.
The NBC’s Women’s Ministry is also service oriented. Our ladies prepare meals for those in the congregation who are new mothers or for those who are too ill to prepare meals for their family. We also celebrate with showers for first time brides and mothers.
As women we enjoy having fellowship. We have seasonal fellowship gatherings during the Spring and Fall, Christmas Ornament Exchange, Ladies Spring Tea and a variety of other events which very from bowling to home tours.
Several evenings a week we gather for low impact aerobics and weight training along with stability ball exercises led by a certified instructor at no cost.
